About Dr. Lee J. Markowitz
Dr. Lee J. Markowitz is a nature and wildlife photographer with 15 years of field experience capturing the landscapes and wildlife of the region. His editorial work has been published in Ohio Magazine and La Roche University publications, and featured by regional organizations including Go Laurel Highlands and the Allegheny County Parks Department.
A Professor and the Chair of Psychology at La Roche University, he integrates a lifelong passion for teaching with his love for outdoor photography. Through community courses and hands-on workshops, he helps photographers of all skill levels master their camera settings, refine their composition, and connect with the natural world.
